BT1 Pale Grey is a unique sealant product upon which bacteria/microbes cannot survive, making it easier to maintain a more hygienic surface which is free of solvents and isocyanates.
It’s the ultimate sanitaryware product for use in all public health institutions, hospitality and food production areas including hospitals, clinics, changing facilities and food storage areas.
BT1 Pale Grey's revolutionary TRIBRID® Technology ensures it delivers a watertight seal on application with excellent resistance to mould and fungal infestation. It can be used in a range of applications both inside and outside of the home, even in extreme weather conditions.
It is ETAG022 Compliant for the installation and sealing of bathroom waterproof panelling.
ISEGA Certified for use in food preparation and cold storage areas.
Made in Britain with British technology and British design by C-Tec, the manufacturers of CT1 Unique Sealant and Construction Adhesive, BT1 Transparent is clinically proven to reduce bacteria by up to 99.99%. It is tested under MOD ISO 22196:2011 and is effective against a broad spectrum of microbes including MRSA, E. coli and Campylobacter.
T1 Pale Grey is a unique Anti-Bacterial TRIBRID® Polymer Construction Sealant & Adhesive on which bacteria/microbes cannot survive, making it easier to maintain more hygienic surfaces. ETAG 022 Certified.

Made in Britain BT1 Pale Grey is tested to MOD ISO 22196:2011 (Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces) and clinically proven to reduce bacteria by up to 99.99%. It is not only resistant to mould and mildew attack but actively repels bacterial ingress to provide a cleaner, healthier surfaces for longer.
BT1 PALE GREY will successfully bond:
- All metals (including lead)
- Glass
- Mirrors
- All woods
- MDF
- Polystyrene
- Fibreglass
- Tiles
- Concrete
- Brick
- Most stones (without staining)
- Most synthetic materials
- Plastics (excluding PP, PE and PTFE)
BT1 PALE GREY is not suitable for use with materials containing:
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polypropylene (PP).
- Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
On powder coated aluminium advice should be sought from the manufacturer of the powder coating on the suitability of their product to accept adhesives bonding to the surface layer.
